World champ Semenya cleared to return to track after gender test proves she’s Female.

JOHANNESBURG (AP)—Caster Semenya was cleared to immediately return to track by the sport’s governing body Tuesday, ending an 11-month layoff while she underwent gender tests after becoming the 800-meter world champion.

Semenya is allowed to keep running as a woman, although it is unclear if she has had any medical procedure or treatment during her time away.

The International Association of Athletics Federations said medical details of the 19-year-old South African’s case would remain confidential and it will have no further comment on the matter.

The IAAF added in its statement from its Monaco headquarters that it accepts the conclusion of a panel of medical experts that Semenya can compete with “immediate effect.”

She could return to competition at the world junior championships in Moncton, New Brunswick, starting July 19.

“I am thrilled to enter the global athletics arena once again and look forward to competing with all the disputes behind me.” Semenya said in a statement.

Richard Stander of Athletics South Africa said that Semenya would now be considered for South Africa’s team for the world junior championships, pending a fitness test in Pretoria on Wednesday requested by ASA. FULL STORY

Troubling evidence surrounding the Deepwater Horizon explosion on April 20th suggests that the incident could have been manufactured.

On April 12th, just over one week before the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded, Halliburton, the world’s second largest oilfield services corporation, surprised some by acquiring Boots & Coots, a relatively small but vastly experienced oil

well control companies.

The company deals with fires and blowouts on oil rigs and oil wells. It was responsible for putting out roughly one third of the more than 700 oil well fires set in Kuwait by retreating Iraqi soldiers during the Gulf War.

The deal itself is still under scrutiny with Boots and Coots facing an ongoing investigation into “possible breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations of state law”

Where this information gets really interesting is with the fact that Halliburton is named in the majority of some two dozen lawsuits filed since the explosion by Gulf Coast people and businesses who claim that the company is to blame for the disaster.

Halliburton was forced to admit in testimony at a congressional hearing last month that it carried out a cementing operation 20 hours before the Gulf of Mexico rig went up in flames. The lawsuits claim that four Halliburton workers stationed on the rig improperly capped the well.

Gucci Mane cleans house Fires everybody; Launches New Label From Jail cell…..

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has officially parted ways with his former management company Mizay Entertainment and booking agency Hitt Afta Hitt Enterprises.

Mizay Entertainment is helmed by Debra Antney, while promoter Johnnie Cabbell is the owner of Hitt After Hitt Enterprises.

Both companies and their respective owners are named in several federal lawsuits, claiming they booked Gucci Mane in several cities throughout the country, without disclosing that the rapper was heading to jail.

Gucci missed a string of dates over the past year, resulting in lawsuits against Mizay and Hitt After Hitt for failing to return hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in advanced payments.

Gucci has closed down his So Icey Entertainment imprint and is now the President and CEO of 1017 Brick Squad Records Inc.

The artists on the new label are Wacka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Bricksquad (Wacka, OJ and Gucci) and Gucci Mane himself.

The rest of 2010 is going to be real major,” Gucci Mane told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (May 4th). “I’m taking control of all of my business properties and keeping the focus on my career, my music and my artists. All the pieces to the puzzle are finally in place and once I get home it’s Gucci time.”

Gucci Mane also has a new management team to handle his career now that he has parted ways with Mizay Entertainment.

The rapper has entered into an exclusive management deal with First Avenue Management, while CAA will now handle the booking of his shows.

He also named David Bolno, Managing Director at Nigro, Karlin, Segal & Feldstein as his new his new business manager.

In April, Nicki Minaj abruptly fired Debbie Antney and Mizay Entertainment from managing her career.

Top Ten Reasons You Should QUIT Facebook

Just about everyone you know has a Facebook account, including ME. We bring you unfiltered information. You make your own decisions.

Facebook privacy policies keep going down the drain. That’s enough reason for many to abandon it. Here you will find nine more:

After some reflection, I’ve decided to delete my account on Facebook. I’d like to encourage you to do the same. This is part altruism and part selfish. The altruism part is that I think Facebook, as a company, is unethical. The selfish part is that I’d like my own social network to migrate away from Facebook so that I’m not missing anything. In any event, here’s my “Top Ten” reasons for why you should join me and many others and delete your account.

10. Facebook’s Terms Of Service are completely one-sided

Let’s start with the basics. Facebook’s Terms Of Service state that not only do they own your data (section 2.1), but if you don’t keep it up to date and accurate (section 4.6), they can terminate your account (section 14). You could argue that the terms are just protecting Facebook’s interests, and are not in practice enforced, but in the context of their other activities, this defense is pretty weak. As you’ll see, there’s no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt. Essentially, they see their customers as unpaid employees for crowd-sourcing ad-targeting data.

9. Facebook’s CEO has a documented history of unethical behavior

From the very beginning of Facebook’s existence, there are questions about Zuckerberg’s ethics. According to BusinessInsider.com, he used Facebook user data to guess email passwords and read personal email in order to discredit his rivals. These allegations, albeit unproven and somewhat dated, nonetheless raise troubling questions about the ethics of the CEO of the world’s largest social network. They’re particularly compelling given that Facebook chose to fork over $65M to settle a related lawsuit alleging that Zuckerberg had actually stolen the idea for Facebook.

8. Facebook has flat out declared war on privacy

Founder and CEO of Facebook, in defense of Facebook’s privacy changes last January: “People have really gotten comfortable not only sharing more information and different kinds, but more openly and with more people. That social norm is just something that has evolved over time.” More recently, in introducing the Open Graph API: “… the default is now social.” Essentially, this means Facebook not only wants to know everything about you, and own that data, but to make it available to everybody. Which would not, by itself, necessarily be unethical, except that …

7. Facebook is pulling a classic bait-and-switch

At the same time that they’re telling developers how to access your data with new APIs, they are relatively quiet about explaining the implications of that to members. What this amounts to is a bait-and-switch. Facebook gets you to share information that you might not otherwise share, and then they make it publicly available. Since they are in the business of monetizing information about you for advertising purposes, this amounts to tricking their users into giving advertisers information about themselves. This is why Facebook is so much worse than Twitter in this regard: Twitter has made only the simplest (and thus, more credible) privacy claims and their customers know up front that all their tweets are public. It’s also why the FTC is getting involved, and people are suing them (and winning).

6. Facebook is a bully

When Pete Warden demonstrated just how this bait-and-switch works (by crawling all the data that Facebook’s privacy settings changes had inadvertently made public) they sued him. Keep in mind, this happened just before they announced the Open Graph API and stated that the “default is now social.” So why sue an independent software developer and fledgling entrepreneur for making data publicly available when you’re actually already planning to do that yourself? Their real agenda is pretty clear: they don’t want their membership to know how much data is really available. It’s one thing to talk to developers about how great all this sharing is going to be; quite another to actually see what that means in the form of files anyone can download and load into MatLab.

5. Even your private data is shared with applications

At this point, all your data is shared with applications that you install. Which means now you’re not only trusting Facebook, but the application developers, too, many of whom are too small to worry much about keeping your data secure. And some of whom might be even more ethically challenged than Facebook. In practice, what this means is that all your data – all of it – must be effectively considered public, unless you simply never use any Facebook applications at all. Coupled with the OpenGraph API, you are no longer trusting Facebook, but the Facebook ecosystem.

4. Facebook is not technically competent enough to be trusted

Even if we weren’t talking about ethical issues here, I can’t trust Facebook’s technical competence to make sure my data isn’t hijacked. For example, their recent introduction of their “Like” button makes it rather easy for spammers to gain access to my feed and spam my social network. Or how about this gem for harvesting profile data? These are just the latest of a series of Keystone Kops mistakes, such as accidentally making users’ profiles completely public, or the cross-site scripting hole that took them over two weeks to fix. They either don’t care too much about your privacy or don’t really have very good engineers, or perhaps both.

3. Facebook makes it incredibly difficult to truly delete your account

It’s one thing to make data public or even mislead users about doing so; but where I really draw the line is that, once you decide you’ve had enough, it’s pretty tricky to really delete your account. They make no promises about deleting your data and every application you’ve used may keep it as well. On top of that, account deletion is incredibly (and intentionally) confusing. When you go to your account settings, you’re given an option to deactivate your account, which turns out not to be the same thing as deleting it. Deactivating means you can still be tagged in photos and be spammed by Facebook (you actually have to opt out of getting emails as part of the deactivation, an incredibly easy detail to overlook, since you think you’re deleting your account). Finally, the moment you log back in, you’re back like nothing ever happened! In fact, it’s really not much different from not logging in for awhile. To actually delete your account, you have to find a link buried in the on-line help (by “buried” I mean it takes five clicks to get there). Or you can just click here. Basically, Facebook is trying to trick their users into allowing them to keep their data even after they’ve “deleted” their account.

2. Facebook doesn’t (really) support the Open Web

The so-called Open Graph API is named so as to disguise its fundamentally closed nature. It’s bad enough that the idea here is that we all pitch in and make it easier than ever to help Facebook collect more data about you. It’s bad enough that most consumers will have no idea that this data is basically public. It’s bad enough that they claim to own this data and are aiming to be the one source for accessing it. But then they are disingenuous enough to call it “open,” when, in fact, it is completely proprietary to Facebook. You can’t use this feature unless you’re on Facebook. A truly open implementation would work with whichever social network we prefer, and it would look something like OpenLike. Similarly, they implement just enough of OpenID to claim they support it, while aggressively promoting a proprietary alternative, Facebook Connect.

1. The Facebook application itself sucks

Between the farms and the mafia wars and the “top news” (which always guesses wrong – is that configurable somehow?) and the myriad privacy settings and the annoying ads (with all that data about me, the best they can apparently do is promote dating sites, because, uh, I’m single) and the thousands upon thousands of crappy applications, Facebook is almost completely useless to me at this point. Yes, I could probably customize it better, but the navigation is ridiculous, so I don’t bother. (And, yet, somehow, I can’t even change colors or apply themes or do anything to make my page look personalized.) Let’s not even get into how slowly your feed page loads. Basically, at this point, Facebook is more annoying than anything else.

Many of these rappers became the richest by collaborating with other artists and delving into the world of fashion. The earnings estimates consist of pre-tax income between June 2008 and June 2009.

How he made his money: Eminem’s new album, ‘Relapse’ sold more than 1 million copies in its first month of release. This rapper’s recent jump back onto the scene is not likely to be his last.

The 00s were a strange decade for hip-hop, as it officially took its place as the most popular musical genre in the world. The market polarized into idiotic one-hit wonders, conscious backpackers, outdated thugs with larger-than-life personalities and imaginary rap sheets, and thousands of other niches. But quality still shone through, with some truly groundbreaking albums hitting the racks. What follows is my list of the 10 best albums to drop over the last 10 years.

10. Kanye West – The College Dropout- A lot of people are saying this is the best album of the decade. I would disagree with that. It’s a great album but it’s somewhat disjointed and looking at where Kanye is at now musically it already feels a little outdated. What I will say is “Jesus Walks” is one of the best songs of any genre OF ALL TIME!!! OF ALL TIME!!!

9. Madvillain – Madvillainy – MF Doom has never sounded better than he did when he teamed up with Madlib for this little ditty of WTF hip hop. This is not a club album. This is for people who want to be challenged with real lyrics and not for their knowledge of designer clothes or “Famous drug dealers of the 70’s and 80’s for $200 Alex”.

8. Quasimoto – The Unseen – I told you this was the Grown Ass Man’s Top 10! I understand that this isn’t an album for everyone. The voice is strange as hell but the production is so far ahead of anything on the radio you have to take notice. Madlib is a musical genius and he doesn’t like fish sticks.

7. Slum Village – Fantastic Vol. 2 – This album allowed me to forgive Jay Dee for the last two Tribe albums and embrace the Detroit sound. Unfortunately Slum Village was never the same after this album with Jay Dee going on to do his own thing and now with the passing of Battin this year they are forever changed.

6. Common – Like Water For Chocolate – This is what happens when hip-hop transcends the KRS-One five elements rules and just becomes really, really good music. Common may be the only rapper alive or ever for that matter to call a woman a bitch and still make it sound like a love song. Too Short could never do that.

5. Ghostface Killah – Supreme Clientele – I LOVE THIS ALBUM! It’s one of those don’t skip a track joints that still bangs hard, even 10 years later. This album single handedly saved the entire Wu Tang Clan from falling into what I like to call the “Nobody Cares Anymore” section along with the likes of DMX or your 50 Cent types. What ever happened to that MF Doom & Ghostface album?
4. Jay-Z – The Blueprint – I personally like The Black Album more than The Blueprint but I’m not in the mood to hear everybody’s crap so I’ll let you have this one. HOVA!

3. Outkast – The Love Below – First off let me be clear, I thought Speakerboxxx SUCKED! Andre 3000 did his thing on this and the outcome was their best album since ATLiens. Not to mention that it was the first hip-hop album to win Album of the Year at the Grammys. Can we get another classic please?

2. Kanye West – Graduation – Some would say that College Dropout should rank higher than Graduation, they are WRONG. This album signaled a new direction not only in Kanye’s music (808 & Hearbreaks) but for hip-hop as a whole (emo hip-hop i.e. Kid Cudi). Yeah, he’s an asshole but he’s good at what he does.

1. Jay Dee – Donuts – No album in the past decade has captured the soul and spirit of an artist better than this, and it was all done without him saying a word. The only thing left to say about this album is… TURN IT UP!

Born Michael Taylor on August 6, 1982, Inertia was raised as a military child spending majority of his life in Houston, Texas. At an early age he found himself fascinated by rap music and began to create and mold his lyrical and vocal skills showing his love for the music industry. Inertia was inspired by the presence and style of such acts as Do Or Die, Cap One, Ludacris, Scarface, and the living legend himself Twista.

Early in his career Inertia’s talent caught the attention of independent record label Young And The Restless. Inertia recorded several songs for Y&R Records and enjoyed the ability to have his music recorded on CD. In 1999, news of his talent caught the attention of the world’s largest independent rap label, “No Limit Records.” Master P and his producers were so impressed with his skills that they invited him into the studio where he recorded on projects with multi-platinum recording artists C-Murder and Silk tha Shocker.

He proved his ability to write and rap lyrically complex and quality material within a short period of time. While in the studio he also assisted Master P with ideas for hooks on his songs. Master P was anxious to sign Inertia, but had to put him on hold due to the fact that his distribution schedule was full. Inertia continued to perform at several concerts as an opening act for a couple of majors such as Mystical, Juvenile, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Paul Wall, Jody Breeze of “The Boyz-N-Hood,” and Ying Yang Twins. After entering the “Texas Summer Music Conference” in 2006 it became obvious to people that he would be a great addition to the music industry. By the end of 2006 he had not one, but two songs on K104 FM, developing a much larger fan base than he had before.

BODY

Born Michael Taylor on August 6, 1982, Inertia was raised as a military child spending majority of his life in Houston, Texas. At an early age he found himself fascinated by rap music and began to create and mold his lyrical and vocal skills showing his love for the music industry. Inertia was inspired by the presence and style of such acts as Do Or Die, Cap One, Ludacris, Scarface, and the living legend himself Twista.

Early in his career Inertia’s talent caught the attention of independent record label Young And The Restless. Inertia recorded several songs for Y&R Records and enjoyed the ability to have his music recorded on CD. In 1999, news of his talent caught the attention of the world’s largest independent rap label, “No Limit Records.” Master P and his producers were so impressed with his skills that they invited him into the studio where he recorded on projects with multi-platinum recording artists C-Murder and Silk tha Shocker.

He proved his ability to write and rap lyrically complex and quality material within a short period of time. While in the studio he also assisted Master P with ideas for hooks on his songs. Master P was anxious to sign Inertia, but had to put him on hold due to the fact that his distribution schedule was full. Inertia continued to perform at several concerts as an opening act for a couple of majors such as Mystical, Juvenile, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Paul Wall, Jody Breeze of “The Boyz-N-Hood,” and Ying Yang Twins. After entering the “Texas Summer Music Conference” in 2006 it became obvious to people that he would be a great addition to the music industry. By the end of 2006 he had not one, but two songs on K104 FM, developing a much larger fan base than he had before.

In 2009 after working with numerous platinum selling artists, Two-time Grammy Award Winners Play-N-Skillz secured a major executive deal with SRC/Universal Records, allowing them to search for new talent. The super producer duo came across the highly talented artist, Inertia. From his dedication and incredible work ethic, Play-N-Skillz made the decision to make Inertia the first G4 Muzik/SRC/Universal Artist. Inertia is now working on his debut album, and already has a new hit single titled “Body” ft. Slim from 112.

Inertia continuously strives for success in music, but also leads a balanced life and believes that the greatest success in music will allow him to take care of his family. With his career in the opening stages, Inertia is ready to go out and surprise the world with his crafty punch lines, tongue twisting skills and amazing sound. Stepping, which is deeply rooted in the tradition of historically Black Fraternities, has moved into the mainstream. At the Sprite Step Off, a traditionally white sorority with all white members, Zeta Tau Alpha won the $100,000 prize.  Bossip was in the audience and they agreed that Zeta Tau Alpha “brought it.”

This can be considered of another example of how Black culture becomes mainstream and becomes appropriated by Caucasian people and becomes a greater part of American culture as a whole.

NCAA Football Player Kicked Off Team For Showing Off Cash On Twitter

Elija Fields, a safety who played for Pittsburgh University was dismissed from the school’s football team after he posted several pictures of money with the the headings “More to Come and Its Mine BITCH Burrr” and “Never knew Football was gon get me all this money Sike I Knew haha

On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette broke the news that Panthers safety/linebacker Elijah Fields was kicked off the team for unconfirmed disciplinary reasons.

However, a quick look at Fields’ Twitpic page may offer a clue as to why. Back on Feb. 2, he posted some extremely incriminating photos of a gargantuan pile of cash, including one with a comment saying , “Never knew Football was gon get me all this money Sike I Knew haha.


The ridiculous amount of cash pictured is already suspicious enough for a college student, but when he states directly below the photo that he got it for playing football, it has to raise some serious eyebrows with the NCAA.

As any college football fan already knows, it is illegal to pay players. So if there’s any truth to Fields’ insinuation that the cash came from playing football, then the University of Pittsburgh’s football program could be heading for serious trouble.


Fields had plenty of off-the-field troubles with Pittsburgh, including a suspension through the entire 2007 season, so his dismissal could be completely unrelated to this incident.

However, evidence doesn’t get much more damning than a player willingly boasting about getting paid to play and even posting the evidence.

According to reports, A shoot-out between rapper Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy’s entourages took place Thursday afternoon in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to the AJC, “The fight started around 4 p.m. Thursday when Mane’s group walked into the store popular with celebrities and spotted Jeezy’s associates, said witness Patrick Morrison. “There was a physical altercation inside the location between several men,” Atlanta Police spokesman James Polite confirmed to the AJC. One of the men produced a weapon “and as a result a private armed security guard of a local entertainer discharged his weapon.”

“Numerous sources allege that Flocka was attacked by Slick Pulla, an artist signed to Young Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz Entertainment label, and member of the group USDA (United Dope Boyz of America). “Story has it that Waka Flocka and Slick Pulla have been beefing since an altercation that happened in Miami a few months ago,” explained celebrity photographer Freddy O. “Slick Pulla wanted to get it popping and that’s what he tried to do. After a tussle and fight throughout the entire Walter’s store, with customers, gunfire rang out. In the end Slick Pulla left the store while Waka was left with a bloody nose and eye.”

Dakieston “Dice” Johnson “ was born in Sulphur Springs, Tx on January 4, 1988. His mom and uncle had established a name in the music in the mid to late 80s. From day one Dice has been around music. Wen he turned 9 yrs old, he knew he wanted to do music. Dice dropped his first cd at the age of 16 with the group Mohab, which consisted of close family members. Dice met rapper Lil Grody and started hitting the studio strong. While with the group True Crew Thugs he featured on three mixtapes that made him a new prospect in the East Texas music scene. “Ever since I younger I knew I wanted to be an artist not just a rapper”, he says. Dice’s style of music is different from others. If you acutally listen the lyrics you will find a message all the way from mixtape to album tracks. He puts his pain, happiness, anger, and mindset on his tracks. The album/mixtape, “Cant B Faded”, will be his debut to the majors which features hit singles “Rite On”, “Vido Lodi”, and “Sumthin 2 Vibe 2″. Currently he is working on 4 cds. “I got to give the people what they want, this is my calling so I praise God for blessing me with this talent”.

Waka Flocka Concert Ends With Shooting

Waka Flocka Flame has already had a month filled with violence as two incidents with his name attached made the headlines. First, members of his camp had an altercation with members of Young Jeezy’s camp and the following day, eight young men were shot after his concert.

As we reported last week, the Jeezy and Gucci camps were in a scuffle that involved shots being fired at Walters Clothing Store in Atlanta, Georgia. This led to Flocka’s bodyguard firing shots before police officers arrived on the scene. Flocka reportedly left the incident with a swollen eye.

The following evening, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that eight young men were shot after Waka Flocka’s concert in Gary, Indiana. The young men, ages 14 to 18, were allegedly shot at the World of Skates’ parking lot on March 5. The Post-Tribune reported that their injuries were not life threatening.

According to Commander Michael Mallett, this is all a result of an east vs. west battle.

Waka Flocka Flame is no stranger to violence. He was the victim of a shooting in January that could have ended his life.

Murder suspect linked to skate rink shooting

A Gary teen has been charged with murder, robbery, attempted murder and other felonies for the Jan. 19 shooting death of Lloyd Holland, 22, outside the victim’s Miller home.

Dontevious “Bubba” Hutcherson, 17, was arrested this week and is also being questioned in connection withthe shooting of nine teens outside World of Skates as a rap concert ended Friday night.

Police arrested Hutcherson and confiscated a weapon that may have been used in one of the shootings.

Holland and his cousin, William Johnson, 19, were at a home in the 800 block of Floyd Street. Holland was getting ready to perform at a rap party in Glen Park when Hutcherson asked Johnson for money to attend the show, but Johnson declined to give him the cash, the probable cause affidavit states.

“He opened fire on them with a silver and black colored handgun,” the affidavit states. After both men were shot, Hutcherson took cash and jewelry from them and fled.

POLICE believe a shooting which left eight teens injured at a rap concert in Gary, Indiana, may have been incited by a “hype man” who wound up the crowd before the main act, it emerged overnight.

Bullets began flying after a fight broke out as a 200-strong crowd left the World of Skates venue after rapper Wacka Flocka’s gig on Friday night, The Post-Tribune reported.

Police have not yet identified the gunman, or gunmen.

One victim said he was shot in the stomach by a black man holding a rifle. He said the man wore a red hat and had dreadlocks.

Police told the Post-Tribune a “hype man” entertaining the crowd before Wacka Flocka took the stage pitted “East Side” vs “West Side” against each other – and that may have sparked the violence.

“The kids have separated themselves into east and west sides,” Michael Mallett said. “They’ve been doing it for many years now, but it’s gotten worse, especially when you have entertainers making references to East Side versus West Side. The youth in our community have taken it to heart.”

None of the wounded, aged between 14 and 18, suffered life-threatening injuries.

The venue was closed over the weekend while authorities investigate.

GARY — City and state inspectors poured over every inch of Andre Ivey’s bar and skating rink Wednesday morning looking for code violations at the scene where nine teens were shot as they left a rap concert Friday night.

After checking wiring, plumbing, storage areas, the kitchen and exits, inspectors decided World of Skates, 4415 W. 5th Ave., must close until a sprinkler system is installed. Posh, the bar adjacent to the rink, can remain open.

“You’ve got lots of items plugged into outlets and lots of paper all around them behind the bar. That’s potential for a fire,” Indiana fire and building code inspector Tom Stephens told Ivey.

Some of the problems should have sounded familiar to Ivey.

In the fall of 1997, after another rap concert that ended in violence, inspectors shut the facility for similar violations.

Ivey estimated 800 teens packed World of Skates on Friday to hear Wacka Flocka, a well-known rapper.

“He did three little songs. The crowd responded to him,” he said. Everyone was well-behaved and there was no threat of violence, Ivey said.

“We had at least one adult for every 30 to 50 children,” he said.

Outside in the parking lot, where the shooter opened fire on teens as they were leaving, seven sworn and auxiliary officers hired by Ivey provided security.

“We didn’t get our money’s worth,” complained Michael Jones, one of Ivey’s staff members.

Police have arrested a 17-year-old, Dontevious Hutcherson, who they say is being questioned in connection with the shooting. Hutcherson was charged Wednesday with the Jan. 19 shooting death of Lloyd Holland Jr., who was killed as he left his Miller home to perform as a rapper at a club in Glen Park. Holland’s cousin was shot six times in the same incident. Police said Holland’s cousin refused to give Hutcherson $5 to attend the show, so he shot them both then took money and jewelry from them.

Nudity isn’t the only concern being voiced over the video. The City of Dallas is upset that Erykah didn’t bother getting a permit to shoot the video, and Dallas locals are upset that she would disrespect the place where Kennedy was shot. The assassination is still a sore spot for many Dallas residents who try to both preserve the historic location while keeping it from being exploited in popular culture.

For her part, Erykah said on Twitter that she hopes she didn’t “traumatize” any children watching while the video was being shot, but she’s pleased with the result.

Native son of Dallas, Texas, 25 year old, Ronald “The Jett” Hart was born and raised in the Oak Cliff sector. The Highland Hills neighborhood he grew up in played a major role in his upbringing. His mothers’ youngest of four, and considered an accident, Jett became a real life “product of his environment”, as he ran with and looked up to the older guys in the hood. It wasn’t until October 2000 while attending Skyline High School that he even considered rapping, when he would participate in freestyle battles outside of the school cafeteria, and started taking it serious. “I could just freestyle real good, no pen, no paper, just a mind that moved fast. Everyone would just wait on me to get to school so I could rap… My punchlines were crazy.” says Jett. Rap dreams were put on hold as he went on a four year hiatus to the military, but instead of giving up on them, he grew lyrically being on a different coast and hearing different styles of rap. A student of the emo rap genre, he creatively puts his real life experiences into punchlines and metaphors, broadening the horizons of the Texas rap scene.

Young Money’s first lady Nicki Minaj has fired her manager Debra Antney, who is also the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame.
According to Waka Flocka’s mother, the news came when she received a series of letters, banning her from doing business with Minaj. “I received a letter, which was [a] suspension,” said Antney in a recent interview. “The next letter that came in was a cease and desist in doing all business with Nicki Minaj from Nicki’s attorney.”
Unbeknownst to Antney as to why she had been fired, admits that she holds no grudges regardless of the rapper’s decision. “I love Nicki. I wish her the most success. It’s not about the music, she’s like one of my children,” she continued, “I wish her no harm, only much success.

Debra Antney is currently Gucci Mane’s manager and CEO of So Icey/Mizay Entertainment, an Asylum/Warner Bros affiliate.
Aside from firing her manager, Nicki Minaj has also recently cancelled her leg of the nationwide tour with Rihanna. Ice Cube Didn’t Diss Dr. Dre, Jay-Z & Eminem, But He IS Dissing Lil Wayne
Last week, Ice Cube premiered a song titled "Drink The Kool-Aid" which sent the internet into buzz mode because of the following lines that reference Dre, Jay-Z, and Eminem:

"I aint the doctor, this aint the patient, this aint that nigga always on vacation, this aint no white boy’s rehabilitation"

The buzz eventually caused Dr. Dre to personally call Ice Cube to make sure everything was on the up and up. Cube detailed that convo in a blog post on the following day.

"[Dr. Dre] asked me did I diss him during the Paid Dues Show last Saturday. I did one of my new songs called ‘Drink The Kool-Aid’ which got everybody thinking I’m dissing the whole industry…lol ‘You Internet roaches…’ I told Dre that I’d never diss the man that got me started."

OK…. False alarm. Nothing to see here folks… … but wait. A behind-the-scenes look at Ice Cube’s new video "Rep That West" hit the net, and he’s TOTALLY dissing Lil Wayne for being a fake gang member with the line: "People around the world that think you wanna bang, don’t get your ass caught up like Lil Wayne".

That line makes reference to an incident in summer of 2009 in which Lil Wayne’s SUV was blocked in south central L.A. and surrounded by guys who are actual gang members, not people that play them on TV. Is Cube doing this because he simply doesn’t like Wayne? Or is it because Mack 10 & Glasses Malone (who are currently beefing with Cube) are signed with Cash Money Records? The plot thickens.

Timbaland Doesn’t Want To Be Ginuwine’s Friend Anymore
Longtime collaborators Ginuwine and Timabaland are reportedly not seeing eye to eye at the moment. The problem dates to late last year when Ginuwine called Timbo up to appear in a music video for "Get Involved". According to Ginuwine, Timbo repeatedly dodged his calls or gave lame excuses like he was getting "too fat" to appear in a video. As a result, the two former friends are no longer speaking whatsoever.

"Me and Tim were real close at one point," he explained in an interview. "A lot of the times that I reached out, there were a bunch of excuses. I begged and pleaded with him because I felt a certain way but I was like, is it just a bad vibe that I’m picking up on? Maybe I’m bugging out, I don’t know. But it came out to be true and I still feel like he owes me an apology for that. The reason I’m pissed off at him now is because of what he did."

How high are the Dallas Cowboys‘ expectations for first-round draft choice Dez Bryant?

The Cowboys are handing him the No. 88 jersey, which was worn by Cowboys receiving legends Drew Pearson and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin. In fact, the team already had Bryant No. 88 jerseys for sale on the team’s website Friday morning.

“I guess in [owner] Jerry [Jones]‘ eyes, it says a lot about him — that he can handle the pressure of wearing the double-8s,” said Pearson, a member of the 1970s All-Decade team. “Most of the time, you say, what’s in a number? In this case, there’s a lot of history and production.

“For Jerry to anoint him with that number, it indicates that Jerry sees a lot of potential.”

The Cowboys selected Bryant, the Oklahoma State standout, with the 24th pick of the first round Thursday night.

Pearson wore No. 88 from 1973 to 1983. The number was vacant until Irvin wore it from 1988 to 1999. Wide receiver Antonio Bryant and tight ends Jackie Harris and Brett Pierce have worn the number briefly since Irvin retired. Overall, 10 Cowboys players have worn No. 88.

Antonio Bryant brought some attention to the 88, but for the wrong reason. He was best known for throwing his No. 88 jersey into the face of then-coach Bill Parcells during an offseason workout.

1 speak fluent Spanish
2 have a trade or skill that is in demand, or be an investor. No unskilled labor is allowed

while in Mexico as a foreign born citizen, you may not:
1:recieve any public assistance – that is for Mexican-born citizens only
2: hold any elected/public office
3: participate in any public protest or strike
4: own any waterfront property- That is for Mexicans only

If you are in Mexico illegally, you will be jailed, then deported. If you attempt to re-enter Mexico, you will go to prison for 10 years.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon denounced as "racial discrimination" an Arizona law giving state and local police the authority to arrest suspected illegal immigrants and vowed to use all means at his disposal to defend Mexican nationals against a law he called a "violation of human rights." But the legislation, signed April 23 by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, is similar to Reglamento de la Ley General de Poblacion – the General Law on Population enacted in Mexico in April 2000, which mandates that federal, local and municipal police cooperate with federal immigration authorities in that country in the arrests of illegal immigrants.

Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.

The law also says Mexico can deport foreigners who are deemed detrimental to "economic or national interests," violate Mexican law, are not "physically or mentally healthy" or lack the "necessary funds for their sustenance" and for their dependents. Full Story

Government Preparing To Stage Domestic Terror Attack

Bill Clinton, the Southern Poverty Law Center and almost the entire corporate media are not letting a good opportunity go to waste today – by dancing on the graves of 168 victims and exploiting the 15th anniversary of the false flag Oklahoma City Bombing to demonize their political enemies, the Internet, and anyone who dares to express dissent against the federal government.

The propaganda putsch coincides with FBI head Robert Mueller stating that right-wing extremist groups and anti-government militias now represent as big a terror threat as Al-Qaeda, as the whole apparatus of the war on terror is shifted to target Americans increasingly angry at the egregious corruption in government and the global economy as their standard of living plummets and their pension funds are under threat of seizure.

It also dovetails President Obama’s hyping last week of the threat posed by individuals acquiring nuclear weapons, a claim top nuclear experts like Henry Sokolski have derided as overstated and not based on any new intelligence.

Obama’s warning arrives shortly after FEMA was forced to scale back a simulated nuclear bomb attack by terrorists in Las Vegas that was set to involve 10,000 emergency responders, U.S. troops and officials in role playing exercises.

Former President Bill Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Friday that he is worried rising anger at the federal government could lead to another OKC bombing, implying that people who use the Internet to express dissent will be to blame for the violence. Full Story
